Degree in History and PhD in Archaeometry (University of Barcelona). His work has mainly focused on 3D recording and modelling archaeological structures and materials, incorporating data from archaeological excavation and physical analyses of materials. He has also implemented Finite Element Methods on the study of ancient materials. He has been visitor researcher in the National Center for Scientific Research of Athens (Demokritos) and in the University Mohammed First of Oujda (Morocco). As a professional archaeologist has led many archaeological excavations and studies of ceramic materials covering a wide range of types and periods (from Prehistory to Modern times).
